General Information
JTF - Just The Facts
Flash drives are a commodity product and the quality amongst the cheaper unbranded units tends to suffer, as such we strongly suggest branded flash drives. They are all USB2 but so what, the governing factor is the speed of the flash chips used. The budget flash drives will use MLC flash memory whilst other so called fast flash drives should use SLC, not that most manufactuers will tell you which they use. Unless you are using a big flash drive and using it a lot speed shouldn't be an issue.
Recommended - The Informed Choice
The Lexar are good quality and tiny, Sandisk are always worth a look but they got a bit bulky for my liking so got to be Transcend, nice design, good software and quality at very competitive prices. Price - normal - 4Gb Flash Drives - 8Gb Flash Drives - 16Gb Flash Drives - 32Gb Flash Drives - 64Gb Flash Drives
