Mini SD is primarily for mobile phones but with the Mini SD to SD adapter will work in any SD device, capacity up to 4GB. Mini SD cards are one of the most popular flash memory cards used primarily used in mobile phones but almost always supplied with an SD adapter so can be used in any SD designed device. 4Gb Mini SD cards are now available but are of the SDHC type so the device most be able to support them. JTF - Just The Facts There isn't the huge choice on Mini SD as there is on SD, performance is generally good as is compatibilty apart from early Orange SPV's. Check the Mini SD speed test results.

Recommended - The Informed Choice Got to be Transcend Mini SD, for standard devices ie mobile phones and MP3 players their Mini SD's are unbeatable, for more demanding devices then again the Transcend 80x speed Mini SD or Sandisk Ultra Mini SD.
