However popularity doesn’t mean that all cards are made equal, or for that matter even remotely. So how do you choose a SD card, high speed or otherwise objectively? Well, simple really, you look at the chart below. The main thing to remember with SD cards is the use they are going to be put to. For Navigation devices read speed is more important, since you want the maps to come quickly, whilst write speed is more important for cameras.
